We have opportunities for breakfast, lunch, and dinner collaborations with chefs and restaurants.

Can't make it in person? Our Amazon Wishlist is filled with items that will immensely benefit our guests.
DAY 7 | NEW YOU, NEW HAIRDO
Community members are encouraged to stop by either of our locations with their gifts of hygiene items.

Destiny Christian Church is launching a focused blue
jeans drive.
DAY 9 | CHEFS & RESTAURANTS
We have opportunities for breakfast, lunch, and dinner collaborations with chefs and restaurants.
DAY 10 | NEIGHBORHOOD CLEAN UP DAY
As a Thank You to the community, the guests of The Gathering Inn will participate in a neighborhood clean-up.

HAPPY FEET DAY
As we approach World Homeless Day on October 10th, Fleet Feet is spearheading a shoe drive. The goal is to ensure everyone has dependable shoes for their journey. Fleet Feet of Roseville and Folsom will host the drive and contribute shoes to champion the cause.
Join us by donating new or used shoes and new socks as we strive to lift up those ready for their next step forward.
MONDAY, OCTOBER 2ND
FILL THE PANTRY DRIVE
Whether you're near our Auburn or Roseville campuses, drop by with non-perishable food items to help us stock our pantry to ensure transformations happen at The Gathering Inn where there is space for everyone at the table.
Items could include canned vegetables, canned fruits, rice, pasta, peanut butter, canned tuna or chicken, beans (canned or dried), oatmeal, cereal, granola bars, soup, crackers, dried fruits, nuts, bottled water, cooking oils, spices, coffee, tea, canned tomatoes, quinoa, lentils , honey, shelf - stable juice boxes , flour, nutritional shakes (like Ensure), shelf - stable fruit cups , pancake mix, apple sauce, canned beans (like chickpeas , black beans , kidney beans ), canned olives , tortilla wraps , pasta sauce, and instant noodles.
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 3RD
Welcome home baskets
Bless our guests who have recently achieved housing in the past year and those on their journey to achieving sustainable housing.
Donate essentials such as laundry baskets, liquid laundry detergent, cleaning products, paper plates, paper towels, napkins, luggage, gently used blankets, toiletries, coffee machines, kettles, pots and pans , cutlery, dishes, bath towels, shower curtains, alarm clocks, bed linens, pillows, floor mats, trash bags, trash cans, light bulbs, can openers, mixing bowls, measuring cups, sponges, dish soap, and shelf liners . May these items bring comfort and ease to their daily lives.
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 4TH
Furnish the family room
Help us create a comfortable space at our Roseville shelter for our families to enjoy.
Furnish our family room with helpful furnishes that include cots, chairs, and tables. Your contributions will directly benefit our guests who have children. Encouraging rest, safety, play, and productivity, these furnishings will help our families feel at home.

Exciting news ! We have opportunities for breakfast, lunch, and dinner collaborations with chefs and restaurants . We require meals for 150 guests in Auburn and 60 at our Roseville location.

Guests will join us for a rejuvenating day that' s all about transformation and self-care. Local hair stylists will be offering
free haircuts and styling.
Community members are encouraged to stop by either of our locations to gift on hygiene items like lotion, body wash, tampons , 4-blade razors, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, wet wipes , hand sanitizer, tissues, combs, nail clippers, washcloths, Q- tips, band-aids , and travel-sized first aid kits .
With the generous support of our community, we hope to instill confidence and a sense of well -being in every individual
who joins us on this special day.

As World Homeless Day on October 10th approaches, Destiny Christian Church is launching a focused blue jeans drive.
Our aim is ensuring everyone has the dignity and comfort of a quality pair of jeans. Hosted by Destiny Christian Church, this drive embodies our commitment to community care. Lend your support; Donate gently used or new blue jeans, and empower those stepping towards a brighter future.

neighborhood clean up DAY
As a Thank You to the community, the guests of The Gathering Inn will participate in a neighborhood clean-up. Taking pride in their community, they will pick up trash, rake leaves, sweep side walks and do whatever it takes to make the neighborhood shine.
Please drop off your extra garbage bags , brooms, grabbers , rakes, leaf blowers, pruning shears, garden trowels, and gloves to donate to The Gathering Inn neighbor clean-up efforts.
