January 2013 - Lennar Homes. Their wonderful team of about 20 people put up a new storage shed for us!
December 2012 - Nancy and Steve Price for putting on the fabulous "Be the Change" Concert and fundraiser.
November 2012 - Randy Peters and Divine Desserts, our caterers for Splendor of the trees. Thank you for helping us have another fabulous event!
August 2012 - Shamus McClure for the donation of a new copier for our office. Thanks Shamus!
March 2012 - Kevin Woody Landscaping. Kevin is donating his time and talent to resolve our ongoing drainage problems at the Roseville campus. Thank you, Kevin!
February 2012 - Rick Leyva has been donated his time and talent to convert office space to a 2 chair dental clinic. Without Rick's help the future of the dental clinic would be a dream rather than a reality. Bless you Rick!
December 2011 - The Volunteers who came on Christmas Day to open The Gateway Resource Center and to bring food and fellowship to the homeless. Their efforts gave our guests a place to "celebrate" the holiday. Thank you for supporting the homeless community!
September 2011 - Joe Alexander of Westbridge Builders led the formalization of plans for our new Dental Clinic. Construction is underway and it will soon be open for use. Thank you for your involvement in the project, Joe!
August 2011 - Jeri Honberger maintains The Gathering Inn website. Without her service, we wouldn't be able to communicate our message and ministry via the web. Thanks, Jeri!
July 2011 - Clothing Closet volunteers come, sort clothes and have it open twice a week. Many thanks to Carita, Linda, Barbara, Debbie, Mary, Kathryn , Jacki, Pam, Charlotte, and Sharon.
June 2011 - This month's Angels are all of our volunteers, sponsors, and participants that made this year's Annual Gathering Inn Charity Golf Tournament possible. Thank You!
May 2011 - This month's Angels are Wendy Olenick, Robert Parnara, Helen Ohman, Robert Elster, Steve Quittle, Homzie Johnson, and all of our volunteers at the Gateway Resource Center!
April 2011 - Engineers Without Borders. EWB did an excellent job beautifying the front of our facility. EWB is a great organization and we are indebted to them.
January 2011 - Mariam Grunder MFTI and Gary Henderson, MFT. Mariam has donated hundreds of hours offering therapy to the guests of The Gathering Inn while completing her internship, with Gary supervising her hours. Thank you both for your generous contributions.
December 2010 - Starbucks on Douglas Blvd., Roseville, in the Borders shopping center. They have been donating pastries three times a week for our guests. Simple things mean so much to a life interupted.
November 2010 - Kevin Fry of Fry's Moving Company (916-677-9923) certainly went the extra mile for TGI! He transported a baby grand piano from Grizzly Flats to Gateway, then to Morgan Creek Golf Club for Splendor of the Trees, and finally to the high bidder's home in Rocklin. Many thanks for your generous support.
September 2010 - Teri Munger, Shawn Anderson and our wonderful volunteers. Teri was instrumental in bringing Shawn Anderson, author of "Extra Mile America: Stories of Inspiration, Possibility and Purpose" to TGI's 2010 Volunteer Recognition Dinner. Anderson gave an inspirational talk on going the "extra mile" every day, as our volunteers definitely do. Thank you volunteers! We couldn't do what we do without you.
August 2010 - August’s Angels of the Month are all of those in the Roseville community that have rallied around our guest John in his quest for a college degree. This community ROCKS!
July 2010 - A huge thank you to Ignite, Roseville's Young Professional's Organization, for their generous donations to The Gathering Inn. It is the giving spirit of our young leaders which will propel area nonprofits forward for years to come. Congratulations to Carole Trew, our June Angel of the Month. Carole was the coordinator for our 3rd Annual Charity Golf Tournament and she did a wonderful job making this happen. A total of 90 golfers came out to Timber Creek Golf Course May 14 to support TGI. Thanks for all of your hard work Carole!
May 2010 - Angel of the Month is Sign-A-Rama (783-6040). Sign-A-Rama updated The Gathering Inn's large sign at our entranceway with our new logo and stylish graphics. Thanks for updating this for us!
April 2010 - Our April Angel of the Month is Wendy Mains. Wendy was kind enough to come in and help our administration team out while Shirley was on two-month sick leave. Thank you for all of your help Wendy!
March 2010 - Our March Angels of the Month were The Women's Group of First United Methodist for serving as the administrative team at the community clinic this past year. Without these women, the clinic would not run nearly as efficiently as it does today. Thank you, ladies, for your organization, hard work and kindness to our clients. |
